McDonald's Manager, Menu Strategy, Chicken/McCafe in Oak Brook, Illinois
We are looking for intellectually curious problem-solvers that have a passion for marketing, innovation
and food and beverage. As part of the U.S. Menu Innovation team, you will help create the future menu at McDonalds.
Using trends and consumer research, you will contribute to setting short term and executing long-term strategies for your category on the Menu Innovation Team. You will be accountable for generating new ideas and launching those ideas by leading cross functional teams, comprised of consumer insights, operations, culinary, finance and supply chain colleagues. Your responsibilities will include product development, positioning and communication development and commercialization of new menu items. You will also be a key contact, interfacing with our owner/operator partners to bring the products and communication to life in the restaurants.
You’ll contribute to developing and execute plans to deliver on annual financial goals, while managing the everyday needs of the business.

Bachelor’s Degree required
5 years minimum marketing experience, food marketing or innovation experience preferred
Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills
Ability to synthesize data and form logical conclusions
Demonstrated ability to lead teams
Synthesize insights and data to deliver fresh, new thinking and recommendations on category development
Set and execute short term strategy for category and contribute to long term strategy
Develop category analyses and insights that fuel innovative ideas
Create differentiated product concepts and positioning
Collaborate with Culinary, Consumer Insights, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance and Suppliers to turn new products into reality
Manage market tests and contribute to work with agencies to bring product to life in communication
Build compelling Business Cases and contribute to other business activities
Assist with sell-in to leadership and owner/operator partners
Travels up to 30% of time for market visits (sporadic, not continuous)
