McDonald’s, the global restaurant leader is looking for a Regional Marketing Supervisor to join the Florida Regional team. The Marketing Supervisor will not only support the marketing team but they will be a fully dedicated business leader, shaping the future of the McDonald’s business. As a Marketing Supervisor, you will take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of a product or a projects journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you will help shape the brand and help it grow a loyal consumer base.

This means you work with a cross-functional team across sales, corporate communications, legal, product development, and work with our brand engagement teams and help develop relationships with key stakeholders across the U.S. Business, especially with those departments and individuals that the Corporate Relations team partners with including Owner/Operators, field & national marketing and communications and national and local PR agencies.

In this role, you'll be involved in a highly competitive market, executing strategies and help develop materials that will educate and engage our customers, prospects, and partners with fresh, insightful, and compelling content. The content you create will fuel thought leadership, build the credibility and brand awareness, and drive sales.

This position is based in Tampa, FL.

Responsibilities

  • ·Leads the process of developing market/co-op specific marketing/business plans that align with system and region plans and targets and profitably build sales, guest counts, and market share for the company and Owner/Operator restaurants.Key customers include Regional Management, Co-op Owner/Operators/agencies, National/Divisional/ Regional Staff and Restaurant Management.·Support the Marketing team in all assigned projects· Coordinate all tactical aspects of brand marketing program development (e.g. creative development cycle with agencies), and manage execution in market, including communication of program to the field. · Provide input during development of key brand program, annual sales/share/brand health targets, to the Manager and Director of Marketing · Analysis of key in-flight programs including sales impact, share impact, brand health, consumer impressions and connections, public relations and viral impact. · Provide feedback and key learnings monthly in order to generate on-going improvements to processes and programs, and to share best practices with all brand teams. ·Leads and/or provides oversight on the process to promote/execute local store marketing as a resource. (Where appropriate) manages or consults LSM staff.·Leads and/or provides oversight on the communication/process for merchandising execution as assigned.·Ensures and is ultimately accountable for the proper use of the McDonald’s trademarks, logos, producer's licenses, and makes sure all advertising materials have legal and creative approval.·Manage projects as assigned within the regional marketing dept. (i.e. national promotion management within the region, supply chain interface, communications, merchandising, coordination, special events, counsel LSM.·Assists the marketing director with the development of succession plans for co-op leadership.

Minimum Requirements

· Bachelor’s Degree required. Ideally in the areas of Business, Communication and or Economics, MBA is a plus

· 1-3 years marketing experience across a broad background (sales promotion, geographic marketing, advertising agency, digital marketing) Strong strategic, analytic, financial and consumer research skills (Extensive Internship experience will be considered as experience )

·Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in building clear, compelling value propositions that can be expressed in a variety of media

·Maintain a high sense of urgency and entrepreneurial work ethic that is required to drive business outcomes

·Exceptional strategic thinker and analytical skills; ability to address cross-functional and cross-organizational issues independently

·Proficient in MS Office

·Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and deadline-oriented environment

·Positive “can do” attitude, passionate and able to show commitment and to inspire others
