In this role, the selected person will be responsible for overall relationship management with McDonald's IT Portfolio of Service Providers, including integration with the retained functional organizations. Minimum Requirements:

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field is required. Master’s degree (MBA) is preferred.

• 10 – 15 years’ experience in business, I.T. operations and/or vendor management

• 6+ years’ experience managing projects in a complex environment

• 4+ years’ experience building and leading a team

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Effective strategy development and execution experience

• Demonstrated program management experience including outsourcing contract management

• Understanding of benchmarking and performance management processes and techniques

• Strong knowledge of contract and procurement best practices

• Ability to deal with vendors and contractors who provide technology services and goods

Responsibilities:

• Senior level position responsible for overall success of outsourcing relationship(s)

• Leads the IT VMO portfolio management program of service provider(s)

• Takes the lead relationship role in interfacing with service provider(s)

• Accountable for the McDonald's IT (outsourcing) services portfolio, ensuring consistent disciplines are established to oversee all service providers (segmentation of vendors: Strategic, Major, Niche, Commodity)

• Facilitates the engagement of key executives in the governance process for Service Providers, including the facilitation of key decisions related to agreements

• Works in a matrixed environment with Sourcing, Procurement and other groups to manage the sourcing lifecycle appropriately (defining transition management roles and steady state governance) and outlines the handoffs required for VMO

• Defines and executes on the VMO strategy on behalf of McDonald’s

• Defines and executes the IT portfolio risk management program for Vendors to comply

• Facilitates formal governance meetings and interactions between the Service Providers and McDonald's stakeholders

• Manages a team that:

o Executes contractual changes with appropriate engagement from executive / key stakeholders

o Executes changes and/or additions to contract documents (such as SOWs)

o Leads the development of the portfolio scorecard / supplier view of performance (Executive, Functional, Operational reporting)

o Manages critical disputes, involving appropriate executives and key stakeholders as appropriate

o Proactively works with key functional stakeholders to support effective resolution of operational issues at the lowest level

o Facilitates resolution or escalation of critical issues, contract disputes, and significant performance problems on behalf of the program

o Ensures McDonald's is educated regarding contractual obligations and monitors compliance to the obligations under the outsourcing agreements

o Manages the contract benchmarking and renewal process, with appropriate engagement from the stakeholders

o Reviews and approves the service invoice formats

o Validates invoices against contract cost and clauses to ascertain whether the set milestones have reached

• Has responsibility for career-pathing, training and communication to the Governance team and other functional stakeholders
