REAL ESTATE COORDINATOR
Job Description Coordinates and monitors the various procedures that are designed to expeditiously complete Real Estate projects and other Regional Real Estate related activity. Key customers include Real Estate Manager, Area Real Estate Managers, Construction Manager, Area Construction Managers, and Regional, Division and Home Office Staff.
Responsibilities
In addition to following McDonald's policies and procedures, principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities


  • Expedites and ensures the resolution of all conditions required to close a Real Estate transaction and release to Construction (title, survey, environmental studies, closing documents, etc.).


  • Reviews and abstracts lease documents; monitors and tracks critical dates.


  • Monitor, update and assist in the coordination of key project schedules and processes to facilitate the execution of the Development Plan.
    -Reviews and makes comments to title records, REA, Declarations so that Legal Team can prepare Title Objection Letter.

  • Examines title to determine if there are restrictions limiting use of property and title defects.

  • Works with Title Company representatives to cure such defects.

  • Orders and reviews survey for accuracy as necessary to obtain legal clearance and title insurance.

  • Works closely with the Development Team, Legal Team and 3rd Party Providers (surveyor, title company, geotechnical firms, contractors, suppliers, etc.) to monitor and expedite the Development process.

  • Fosters the Development Team approach within the Region.

  • Project Cost Management

  • With Construction Coordinator, ensures that Development costs are reviewed, monitored and updated as necessary.

Other Duties


  • Facilitates and actively participates in Development meetings.

  • Collects, inputs, and provides information that supports the planning process.

  • Ensures that site files are organized, maintained and updated.

  • Assembles, processes and verifies completeness of Real Estate packages.

  • May train and serve as a resource to the Real Estate Secretary.

  • Communicates and implements corporate policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements - 3-5 years experience in real estate closings, a four year degree preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational, team player attitude, written and verbal communication skills, good negotiating skills, working knowledge of real estate and construction.
- Title company experience a plus.
