Our New York Metro Regional Office located in Iselin, NJ has an exciting opportunity for temporary Deployment Consultant focusing on the execution of McDonald’s key restaurant operations initiatives. This role involves consulting and coaching, as appropriate, to McDonald’s independent franchise owners and various members of restaurant operations on deployment-related issues. They will provide expertise and support to Initiative Leads and work collaboratively with the Deployment team to integrate innovative initiatives into the restaurants. This is a temporary assignment as a full-time employee of McDonald’s USA anticipated to last six months.
The regional office is in Iselin, NJ but supports restaurants throughout New York and New Jersey.
§ Clear understanding of the restaurant environment with McDonald’s experience highly desired
§ Significant consulting and coaching skills to various levels of an organization
§ Ability to effectively present in both written and verbal forms to multiple audiences
§ Comfortable in handling multiple assignments with a high degree of complexity
§ Strong experience in deploying time-bound initiatives and establishing effective processes
§ Ability to travel over 50%
The primary responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
§ Collaborate in developing an operating model that can be scaled across the U.S. system.
§ Assist Deployment teams with sequencing, schedules, and targets
§ Focus on processes and procedures while working with restaurant teams to incorporate initiatives into the restaurants
§ Responsible for training and verification of restaurant staff and Franchisees on the initiatives.
§ Ensures successful implementation initiatives by working closely with cross-functional team members to help ensure the pre, during and post coordination of people, equipment and product.
§ Updates Deployment Manager on execution against the targets both pre- and post-implementation.
§ Participates in National communications and training sessions to provide feedback and recommend solutions for overcoming implementation barriers.
§ Conduct restaurant execution shops, consolidates results, and communicates execution levels to the Deployment Manager.
Operations Deployment Consultant (temporary assignment)
