Our Greater SW Office located in Dallas, TX has an exciting opportunity for temporary Deployment Consultant focusing on the execution of McDonald’s key restaurant operations initiatives. This role involves consulting and coaching, as appropriate, to McDonald’s independent franchise owners and various members of restaurant operations on deployment-related issues. They will provide expertise and support to Initiative Leads and work collaboratively with the Deployment team to integrate innovative initiatives into the restaurants. This is a temporary assignment as a full-time employee of McDonald’s USA anticipated to last six months.
Focuses on the execution of Bigger, Bolder Vision 2020 (BBV2020) initiatives; consults and coaches, as appropriate, to Owner-Operators/Supervisors/restaurant GMs on deployment-related issues; measures and communicates execution levels and takes appropriate action to provide expertise and support to Initiative Leads; works collaboratively with the Deployment team to integrate BBV2020 initiatives into the restaurants.
This role is based in Dallas, TX.
§ Strong consulting/coaching skills to various levels of the organization
§ Able to confidently engage in discussions with Owner/Operators (Franchisees)
§ Ability to effectively present in both written and verbal forms to multiple audiences
§ Comfortable in handling multiple assignments with a high degree of complexity
§ Solid background in deploying time-bound initiatives and establishing effective processes
§ Relevant Bachelor’s Degree (Marketing, Analytics, etc.)
§ Strong MS Office Suite Skills
§ 1 year of Marketing or Data Analytics Experience
§ Clear understanding of the restaurant environment (Operations, Structure, Customer-Obsessed)
§ Masters Degree or Masters/MBA Candidate
§ Six-Month Short Term Assignment
§ Must be able to able to travel across the region up to 40% (could include overnight)
Marketing / Analytics
Accountabilities include, but not limited to:
§ Collaborate in developing an operating model that can be scaled across the U.S. system.
§ Assist Deployment teams with sequencing, schedules, and targets
§ Assists in customizing BBV2020 targets for the Region based on local requirements
§ A “Playbook” operationalizing deployment and integration of BBV 2020 initiatives
§ A strategic sequence/schedule for deploying BBV2020 initiatives along with tactics to integrate them
§ Clear success targets/KPIs
Include, but not limited to:
§ Responsible for becoming a secondary subject matter expert of the BBV202 initiatives (Delivery, MO&P, Buttermilk Crispy Tenders, EOTF, HOTG).
§ Directly supports the Deployment Manager in the execution of the Region’s deployment of BBV2020 initiatives.
§ Focus on processes and procedures while working with restaurant teams to incorporate initiatives into our system, capturing the full capability of each initiative
§ Responsible for training and verification of restaurant staff and Franchisees on the initiatives.
§ Ensures successful implementation of BBV2020 initiatives by working closely with cross-functional team members to help ensure the pre, during and post coordination of people, equipment and product.
§ Temporary, knowledgeable man-power resources available to supplement the Deployment team in their BBV2020 execution plan
§ Operators, staff, and restaurant management understand how to successfully execute and integrate the BBV2020 initiatives
§ BBV2020 initiatives are deployed on time per regional plan
§ Restaurants maximize the full potential of each BBV2020 initiative on the business
Include, but not limited to:
§ Updates Deployment Manager on execution against the targets both pre- and post-implementation.
§ Communicates any questions, suggestions, or measurements on BBV2020 initiatives back to the Deployment Manager.
§ Participates in National/Zone TIGER Team communications and training sessions. Provides feedback of implementation barriers and recommends solutions for overcoming such barriers.
§ Conducts restaurant execution shops, consolidates results, and communicates execution levels to the Deployment Manager.
§ Deployment Manager is regularly updated on execution levels, and results vs. targets
§ BBV2020 deployment processes, and Playbook, are refined and simplified where applicable
§ Tips/best bets/key learnings are shared across the system to optimize deployment efforts
